The Dude Is Only A Podiatrist…

WHAT COULD HE KNOW ABOUT FIBROMYALGIA? HE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TENDER POINT AND A TRIGGER POINT.

A similar comment was made about my book on Facebook by someone searching for an answer. I have found that most all painful, palpable points at muscle locations in the body are trigger points.  When these points are pressed, a natural stimulation occurs in the direction of the meridian or energy field flow.  Medicine identifies 18 main trigger points to qualify a patient for the diagnosis of fibromyalgia. These points are some commonly recognized pain locations or trigger points.

“Trigger points are painful locations!”  There are hundreds of trigger points.

As a Podiatric Physician and Surgeon for 50 years, I have also studied acupuncture for 45+ years.  I have used our treatment , the micromanipulation protocol, on over 65,000+ treatment visits.  I have found that, in general, our protocol works even faster than acupuncture.  I have also noted that if acupuncturists do not recognize the foot-body energy field connection, acupuncture alone cannot overcome a foot imbalance.  Foot biomechanical weaknesses cause much of the latent pain in fibromyalgia .  Latent pain is the first level of pain.  It is the pain that the patient doesn’t feel until the area is palpated.  My book will show you how to use our protocol to help stop your pain and get your life back.

  1. What I would not give to have a argue with you about this. You just say so many things that come from out of nowhere that Im fairly certain I would have a fair shot. Your site is great visually, I mean people wont be bored. But others who can see past the videos and the layout won’t be so impressed with your generic appreciation of this subject.

Dr. Groshell,I am so excited to see that you have finished your book!!
I first went to Dr. H. Groshell in 2002, I was as bad as I had been in the 16 years since I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Medications were causing more complications that benefits. What did I have to loose. He started to examine the trigger points and they were ’so quickie’ I nearly jumped out of his chair. He only did 1 side and started treatment immediately with foot manulipations & accupuncture and the importantance of what needed to be eliminated from my diet. I saw my rheumatologist just before I started treatment with Dr. Groshell, I followed up with an appt. with her after 6 weeks treatment with him. She was so impressed, she wanted to know ‘what he was doing’. There has been many referrals to him over the years because of the improvement she saw in me in such a short time. There is help out there for FM patients-you will have the benefit of Dr. Groshell’s 45 years of practice to give you hope and encouragement. This note is from a patient who is grateful that God opened the door to start treatment with Dr. Groshell, and I am still repeaping the benefits of what he taught me. Thank you so much Dr. Groshell. May the Lord continue to bless you in your efforts to reach out to those who CAN have a better life. There is life after Fibromyalgia.
